Code of Conduct: 100% fairness

We write ‘fairness’ with a capital ‘C’ – as in ‘Code of Conduct’. This is our comprehensive code of ethical behaviour which has been our guide at APART since 1997. It’s based on the Conventions established by the ILO (International Labour Organisation) and the United Nations, as well as on the respective national laws of the countries where our goods are produced.

To promote our socially responsible way of doing business, APART is committed to ensuring dignified human working conditions at our suppliers’ production sites worldwide. This means that our suppliers and business partners commit themselves to the conditions of our Code of Conduct as an essential requirement for a business relationship with us.

Our Code includes a comprehensive range of strict and basic rules to protect workers, which include forbidding child labour, ensuring adherence to the working regulations for young workers, ensuring that minimum wages are guaranteed and that maximum working hours are not exceeded.
